Will NTSC HD camcorder work in PAL countries?

Without old CRT technology, frame rates were an issue. Will a HD NTSC camcorder output correctly to a LCD tv in a foreign PAL country? I'm not sure if the NTSC refers to SD resolutions or HD included. If HD will work, it should be fine as I probably will only record in HD anyway but I'd still like to know whether ornot LCD TVs can handle both NTSC and PAL.
 
I'm pretty sure you'll be ok... most TVs in Europe are capable of displaying many other TV standards.

Anyway, HD is HD, it eschews the idiocy of PAl and NTSC...
