will Noctua fit in my Case?

Hi

I am planing to buy Noctua NH D-14 Cooler but I am not sure whether it will fit in my Cooler Master Elite 334 Chassis.

Please suggest.

Hey there =P

I saw your post has been here a bit with no luck yet =[ so I thought I would take it upon myself to give you an answer; unfortunately I doubt your specific CM case will actually be able to handle the noctua =\ the NH-D14 is a monster of a cooler -albeit the best air solution thus far- measuring around 160x140x158mm, although I personally do not own one I do know which cases are roughly able to handle it. It really depends on the case though in question, and whether or not it it has a side fan etc... I would say you should have at least a case 8" wide to be relatively safe, and considering the CM Elite 334 is only 7.37" in width I would say at best your cutting it very very close if indeed your able to cram the door shut... but do measure your case before you even try to take the chance, as it is quite expensive.

I was thinking of getting one of these for my Cooler Master Cosmos 1000. Newegg says the case is nearly 10 1/2" wide so this should fit.

I'd suppose the manufacturer specs are more on the ballpark here than Newegg (or when marketing "ultra-CFM nano-dB" fans).
