Will Nintendo ever make a Wii with an HDMI output?

Just wondering. I have some nice 26" LCD computer monitors, but they lack an A/V or Component input. Only VGA/DVI/HDMI. Would be nice if I could hook up the Wii through HDMI, since I'm using the DVI and VGA right now.
 
i would love them to, but i honestly dont see them making a wii with hdmi. 480p is the max it can go and you can get pretty similar results with component.

however, the wii 2 better have at LEAST 720p. im seeing emulated wii games being upscaled past 720p (brawl in 1080p looks so good), so it EASILY can be provided if it has the right hardware.

yeah there's an emulator. Its called dolphin.

I suspect a wii 2 or wii-hd will likely just use what is roughly xbox 360 now. But when they do introduce it, the production cost would be ridiculously low for them to make a profit from the onset. So I'm thinking 2012/2013. I"m sure that has enough juice to upscale the wii games.
