Will Nehalem motherboards need new power supply?

Depends on what your old power supply was. If it is a 150W ps, then yes. If it was a decent/semi-decent 500W+ PSU, then you should be fine.

If they introduce new connectors they will most likely give you an adapter with it.

The ones I have seen require a 8 pin cpu power plug, not 4. Most of my power supplies have that, and my DQ6 motherboard have an 8 pin plug anyway.. (and a 24 pin regular)

the EATX boards might require 2 8pins..

I say MIGHT... meaning not too sure yet.

i think it will have to be compliant with current power supplies. If not, adapters will have to be employed. I mean power is power ad voltage is voltage right? All the same 🙂

I assume you're talking about the dual-cpu boards? Single-cpu boards don't need any more than one 8-pin.
