Will my TBird 900 do 9x120 or some weird FSB like that?

I have a 8KTA2 Epox board and wanna switch over to a PC133 system, I can't o/c my Tbird right now because I can't get the pencil trick right. Anyhow, I would like to o/c the FSB instead so I doubt 9x133 will work on the newer boards but how about something in between 110-133 FSB? I'm thinking about getting the 8KTA3 board and running my Tbird at 9x120ish. What do you guys think? Thanks

as long as its a kt133a and not a kt133 you should be able to get the fsb to 120 no problem,

but if your going to get a motherboard that supports 133fsb you might want to work on the pencil trick and then run the board at 133 and lower the multiplier.

private message me if you want some help on doing the pencil trick

Ditto here. I have a retail 850 and just got an Iwill KK266 board. How likely would it be to push it to 1130 using a 133 bus? Using the retail heat sink that came with it.

keyed,

I would say it's possible but not likely, especially with the retail heatsink.
