Its not a matter of how many fans you have.....

Most of the time its a matter of air flow!!

You should really set up your system first.

paying attention to cable management.

Then check your airflow and go from there.

Also I have found that 120mm fans sure do beat 80mm fans as far as dba and cfm goes!!

Alot of people use just 4 fans.

I am not one of them!

but with that said I have no dead air spots in my case!!

Good Luck!!:)

Probably yes. I would use what your getting and as JY suggested do a nice cabling job and see what temps your getting w/ stock speeds. Post the temps back here and see what kind of responses you get. I would wait on the oc until I found out what temps are @ stock speeds.

Depends on several factors such as your ambient temps, how much (if any) you need to raise CPU/RAM voltages, how well the air flows inside that case.

Best way is to set everything up and check your temps, then adjust cooling as needed.

OP, you*know* i have a dealsonic purchased SkyHawk. If your smart above the sholders,
( refering to your PM) you will read Zap's mini-review(for the third time).

The 3.5" bay must be moved to the left of the case for MB clearence. More details are on
offer in the mini-review(4 times).

This case is 1.2mm or poor quality aluminum. To keep the lt.side cover from flapping, a
brace of some kind should be put on it if OC worthy fans are mounted on it.

get a better case. look at the vent holes for the fans. tiny and sparse. thats pathetic. youd' have to cut those out completely if you wanted any efficiency from your fans

still a valid concern. its good for him to know that his case would be defeating much of any effort to improve airflow with more and more fans.

also..cases with 80mm fans = bad. 120mm = good. 80mm isn't worth the noise for the little air the blades can move.
