Will my stock AMD64 3000+ fan work ok for a 3800+ X2?

I just ordered an OEM AMD64 3800+ X2 from newegg and I was just wondering if my stock heat sink and fan that I have on my 3000+ will work ok with the 3800+?

I don't really plan on doing any overclocking.

It'd probably be ok IMO - might run on the warmish side, but should still be enough. Just make sure you clean the old thermal goo off first properly and then use a good replacement like Arctic Silver 5.

Yep, it's the exact same heatsink in the X2 3800+ box.
