Will my Sempron 3500+ bottleneck with x1950pro?

I bought a new video card, so I want to put my existing 1950pro on my older 939 system with a Sempron 3500+. I was wondering if it'll bottleneck or should I find a cheap 3600 x2 on ebay, but I'm a little apprehensive about spending money on that computer.

it will be a bottleneck ... BUT, what it the rest of the system like - including the current GPU - and would you consider a mild OC on your CPU?

finally, i think the question is, will there be a significant improvement over what is there now ... bottleneck or no bottleneck[
edit
Usually it will make a significant improvement in your ability to play with much higher details and more AA/AF ... and it will not be a severe bottleneck.

There isn't a video card on it at all, its using onboard video. It is basically just a computer I run ubuntu on and web browse on. It's using Corsair pc3200 value selects 1gb 512x2 and this Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/product/...x?Item=N82E16813186115.

I can probably OC it, it isn't using a stock heatsink.

then go for it - you won't even need to OC

the 1950p will just be overkill for your uses but why spend money on another video card when you already have one?

Actually my friend sold me a 7900gtx for 80 bucks he had laying around because his power supply couldn't handle it and I wanted to see if I can run CoD4 on that computer as well. I'm usually in another city during the weekdays. When I'm out of town, I use an p4 2.2ghz with a 7600gs. I'd thought if its fast enough, I'd bring the Sempron down there and use that instead.

Give it a try ... it should still be a decent gaming rig with the 1950p - better then the 2.2 and the GS, for sure!
... but 2 GB of RAM would be really nice!
