I predict that by some time in 2002 Buy.com, egghead.com, onvia.com and even amazon.com will be out of business. With buy.com's ceo and cfo resigning it looks like they may be the first one out!

I agree. They can't afford to sell everything really cheap anymore, so why would you by from them instead of running to Wal-Mart.

I think amazon will be bought out by a B&M book store.

The first three will be gone. Amazon will still be surviving somehow. Perhaps as Cheapster suggested.
