Will my PC 2700 work in an Athlon64 board?

I am looking to upgrade to an Athlon 64 3400+ with a Biostar MB (deal @ newegg for $99)

Here's the deal. That board says its PC3200 (ddr 400) BIOSTAR ATX AMD Motherboard
Model #: NF325-A7.

I know it will not be full speed, but will my PC2700 allow that machine to work? I don't want to have to buy new RAM at this time.
