Will my older Slot 1 P2 HSF combo work properly with my new P3 Slot 1 CPU???

Just bought a P3 750Mhz 100FSB CPU and I am wondering if I can use a Heat Sink/Fan combo that I bought 2.5 years ago for a Slot 1 P2?? The HSF combo is a Vek-12 dual fan HSF combo that I originally bought for a P2 333Mhz CPU. Well I returned the CPU, hence I never used the HSF combo. The Vek-12 has a completely flat cooling surface, but are the P3 Slot 1 CPU?s attached differently to the HSF combo?s, than a older P2 Slot 1 CPU?? Thanks a lot and please let me know ASAP.
