Greetings - I am upgrading my system with an Asrock 939dual sata motherboard and the AMD 64 x2 3800+ CPU. I have a coolermaster xdream HAV--v81 heatsink and fan. I use it on my socket 462 athlon xp2400+. Will it work on a socket 939 system? It is rated with speeds from 2500rpm to 4800rpm (has a controller to adjust speed), with an airflow of 31.4CFM and 62.8CFM respectively. Thanks much.

Don't think so. Why bother using an old sink when you can get a good, new one for around 17 dollars?

Well......Looking to save money for a while. Later on I plan on upgrading PSU, Memory, Graphic Card........So thought since I have a good cooler I wanted to use it if it worked.

You could just use the stock sink from the X2 3800+ (which isn't that great but it'll work). Later on, you should definitely get a Freezer 64 Pro or above.
