I am considering upgrading my computer with a new MB and Ram and CPU. I am considering the A7V8X with some PC2700 Ram and an Athlon XP 1800+.

I dont have the $ to upgrade my video card right now. I have a Asus V6600 Geforce 256 agp card.

I read up on this MB and is says older agp cards wont work if they are 3.3volt. I cant find anywhere that will tell me what voltage the V660 is. I know it is AGP 4X but I need to know if it will work in this MB. I will probably upgrade the vid card in a month or two.

Thanks for any help.

that's realted to the AGP version, AGP 8x is not backwards compatible with AGP 1x (3.3v signaling) but is backwards compatible with AGP2x/4x.

Your card is based on AGP 4x with fast writes which has 1.6v signaling.
