will my memory work with my mobo?

I just got an EPoX 8RDA3+ mobo (nForce2 Ultra 400 Socket A) that the manual says supports DDR memory of PC2100/2700/3200 with max FSB MHZ being 400MHz. (Got a Barton 2500+ to go with it)

I picked up some Kingston HyperX memory which is 2 sticks of 256MB DDR 500MHz PC4000.

Could someone tell me if this memory will work in my mobo?

I am guessing that it will, although I will be limited to 400MHz speeds?

Thanks!

That memory "should" work fine. You will not be limited to 200 FSB though. I don't know how well those Epox's are at OCing but it "should" be able to go to 215 I would think. Just remember nothing is guarenteed though.

I see what you're saying that it "should" work. Thanks. I've not been much of an OCer but I figured the EPoX board would be a good way for me to learn a thing or two.
