there is this things Called POST, and it requires a video card to pass the POST. MAYBE someone can tell you a bios hack to fix it, but I wouldn't bother.

I'm trying to live and learn here.

So, with this mommaboard, you can't disable the graphics in bios and just go with default, onboard Cousin Billy style as ugly as it is? It won't even post without a card?

The motherboard doesn't have onboard video

P.S. Please stop calling it the "mommaboard"

Hi, Some mother boards had a BIOS Setup item to turn off the video for use as a server, no video. Haven't seen it lately so, may not exist now. May be automatic. Just give it a try and see what happens. Good Luck, Jim

if you don't have integrated video, then good luck with not having a visual for a while, yet alone if the computer will even turn on.

Why not get your hand on a ****** PCI card? Many people have one of those laying around.

This reminds me. Does any one have a clue where that EVGA step up tracking thread has disappeared. I have literally run a search for anything EVGA but havent been able to find it.

P.S. have been stuck at #6 for 7900 GT since teh past 3 days
