Will the 8800GTX fit inside a Lian Li PC-V1000APlusII?

hmmm I am not sure what are the measurements, I have a biased in this because I am an armor and that is like a walk in closet, but I will try and help as best as I can, nice choice on card, I am going with dual 8800GTS's myself

it will kill 2 harddrive slots as the card is the same width as a atx board.

It should fit in a mid tower.

V1100 will fit it.

I just spent some time reviewing the specs of the V1000APlus II and the V1100APlus II

They both seem mighty similar except for the removable motherboard tray. The 1100 is 25mm deeper according to the specs on the official website.

The hard drives are at the bottom 😕

BTW, these are taken from BFG's specs.

PCB Length = 10.5"
With Bracket = 11.026"
Height (Inside Case) = 4.376"
With Bracket (Partially Hidden) = 4.975"
Width = 1.809"

Use a string/ruler inside your case to verify.

can anyone tell me what is the difference between a normal 8800 and a 8800 with 3/8 or 1/2 fittings

UMfanatic: it is the size of the tubing used for water-cooling. And I have no real idea about WC setups and the advantages/disadvantages of a particular size of tubing.

oh I do not have a water cooling set up, and really do not need one, they are nice for show in my opinion, but my ThermalTake armor in combination with my Big Typhoon keep things rather cool
