Will my 3 year old power supply be good enough for a new build?

I have a 3 YO Corsair HX520W. I'm thinking of building a new PC. Perhaps a Phenom 2 X6 and one Radeon 5850 or 6870. I will recycle my 6 1.5TB HDDs and probably overclock the CPU a little.

Is this asking too much of an old PSU? So far I've had no problems with it. It's been fantastic.

Should be fine. PSU components do age, but it should still have plenty of life left in it.

My Ultra 600watt is about 3 years old and doing great (knocks on wood). Eventually would like to upgrade it and have as a back up. You should be ok....just wondering if 520 will be able to handle 6 hds? I have e5200 oced to 3.4 with 5850, 1 hd, 1 dvd

Thanks guys.

I have 6 HDDs on my current system which is an OCed C2D E6600 (2.4Ghz) running at 3.0Ghz with a GF8800 GTS.

I'll keep it for my next system. I actually purchased a Radeon 5870 today since it was on sale at Newegg for $230 AR. I wonder if it is too little power now?
