Will my 13 MacBook Pro play portal 2 like games via VM?

It's the i5 with 6 gb of ram.

Any ideas?

I wouldn't use it via VM. Either use steam for OSX or bootcamp. What video card is in that machine?

idk what new games are out so I just said portal 2.

It's possible but it'll be quite a bit slower than native.

Try Parallel. It's the only VM I know that offers decent Direct3D and OpenGL support for gaming.
