Will my 12 year old PC work as a 4K Plex server?

I just built a new gaming rig and want to convert a PC I built 12 years ago into a Plex server. I'm wondering if it's hardware will handle 4K encoding and streaming without any problem?

Intel i7-930
24GB DDR3 RAM
GeForce GTX 660
On an Asus Rampage III Extreme mobo
Whatever HDDs I need to store video

My other option would be to just buy a Synology DS920+ NAS

Thanks!

No.

To elaborate: If you want to do real-time 4K transcode, you either need to throw MASSIVE CPU grunt, which drives up the power bill and is not advised, or get something like a CPU or GPU that supports both hardware decode AND encode of the various 4K codecs that you want to use, along with software that supports those solutions.
