NO I dont understand why you ask this there can be absolutely no compatibility isues if you use sdram in an sdram board

certain ram is 'athlon tested', and i don't know what the requirements are for ram to be 'athlon approved'.

If there are any issues with the memory, it should probably be because of the mobo and its default settings. Either way, any problems that result will be present even when the processor isn't OCed, since most tbird OCing is done by jacking up the multiplier.

Also, you could always configure the mobo to use the RAM as PC100. Since the FSB is 200 (DDR), PC100 will not impact performance too much, although some may have different experiences.

thanks. SHOULD i be able to run it at cas 2-2-2, or will i have to settle for cas 3-3-3?
