Will MS allow me to downgrade my license from xp64bit to xp32bit?

On a pretty much un-related note, I bought 80 licenses for XP, and they sent a x64 disc as well!

I think you can since you bought OEM. OEM Licenses give downgrade rights so you can use any version of windows lower than that...

The EULA ought to say, regarding the downgrade rights. Start > Run > winver, click the link for the EULA and see if they say anything about downgrade rights. On 32-bit WinXP Pro OEM it's in Section 1.7, dunno about Pro x64 though.

D'oh, I suppose that's no help if you didn't install it yet :confused: In that case boot from CD, start Setup, and then you can check the EULA there.

I dont think so.... I remember reading that for example if you have a legit 32bit version of XP and get the free upgrade to x64 xp it voids your 32bit license and the article was saying how its bad in that you can't go back if you find out that x64 is buggy.. which it is as i've found.... not buggy but just lacks lots of drivers... e.g. my camera and printer
