Will Monro/Midas etc. patch a muffler?

I am about to try to selll my old clunker of a car.
Yesterday my exhaust started making slight farting noises like there was a small hole starting up. I replaced teh rear section about a year ago, so I am assuming this is the front (more expensive) section.

I really just want a cheap-as-possible fix to stop the noise until I sell it.

Will a chain exhaust shop like Monro do a cheap pacth job for me, or would they insist on replacing it?

depending on where the hole is, you can use muffler tape which is like a bandage which goes around the muffler!
