Will Mobile P4 work in socket 478 desktop with 845PE chipset?

Will a Mobile Pentium 4 3.06 533 1MBL2 478-pin FC-mPGA4 work in a Dell Dimension 4550 desktop PC with an 845PE chipset?

It might work, but even if it does, it will only be running at 1.6ghz. Mobile P4's default to the lowest multiplier(12x) in desktop boards, and there is no way to up the multiplier, so it will be running way underclocked.

Yes it will but it will be @ 1.2GHZ
