Most of his threads lately have been stuck on stupid. I think he is trying to compete for most useless threads award.

Completely overlooking jab at the right fomenting anti-muslim sentiment with all the ban Sharia law bills in GOP ruled states?

Played up by who?

Normally, I would say the Evangelical Christians. Now, when you have a dangerous black man in the office of the POTUS you just have to swallow your pride a face the common enemy.

It's the Mormon church and elders that I worry about. The current prophet is the revealed word of god on earth to the Mormons. If he tells you to do something, they believe that command has come straight from god.

What's to stop the prophet from calling up old Mitt and saying "I want you to veto this" or "I want you to support that?"

Yeah, ok.

Less than 1% of our population is Muslim.

But you see, it's not how many muslims there really are in the USA, it's how many there are in the minds of those that hate them with every ounce of their being. To them, there's untold millions of them hiding under every bed and lurking in every dark shadow, and they're all anti-christian fanatical suicide bombers just waiting for a chance to go to paradise after they blow themselves up.

But what really matters is who put those ideas in the heads of those susceptible and gullible enough to buy that crapola and why was that hateful propaganda disseminated to begin with.

Fear and hate is such a useful tool for those that wish to exploit those emotions. It seems fear and hate always triumphs over truth and compassion in some social circles.
