Will Microsoft still replace my keyboard and mouse?

My keyboard and mouse have been acting kinda funny lately, so I want to RMA them. It is the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro. I looked at the bottom of the keyboard and there is a place for the serial number, but it isn't there! I looked under the bottom of my mouse and I can see what is left of it...

Does anyone know if Microsoft will replace it?

If you have the original packaging and a proof of purchase, I don't see why not. However, if you don't have either of those things, I would say you're SOL.

The box was thrown away when I moved and I never got a proof of purchase since I got this keyboard for free from Windows Mobile Training...
