Will Microsoft replace OEM hardware? *Update: "Nope"*

I've got a black Microsoft Internet keyboard. One of the comfort prop-ups just freaking BROKE IN HALF. I bought it OEM, and it says OEM in the product ID? Will they replace it?

And what's procedure to get somthing replaced? Because I'd like to try it anyway. I could still RMA it to Newegg, but I don't want to ship it back.

Update: "I'm sorry, we don't replace that model anymore"

Dude, I just ordered another one yesterday. Wrong color, though.

I was under the impression that Microsoft only required a PID to get a replacement. Or did they figure out what people were doing with the store display units and now require you to give them the original?

It'd cost just as much to buy a fresh one as to ship this one back to either place. That, and I don't think they want to touch this nasty thing.

If it has a PID just call them up (don't have # handy right now) and ask. Their RMA customer service is awesome.

Uhh. I just ordered another one just like this yesterday. Except in a different color.

Microsoft doesn't honor OEM merchandise. 🙁

You have to get it replaced by the place you bought it.

I tried to have a OEM Mouse replaced, but they wouldn't.
