Will Microsoft release an upgrade for 32-bit Win-XP??

I was just reading up on all the new 64-bit tech news and I was wondering what happens to the people who have bought a 32-bit version of windows XP and want to go to 64-bit. MS isn?t going to charge us the cost of a whole new OS are they? Also, I was also wondering if 64-bit computing is ever going to replace 32-bit computing as the standard anytime soon.

being as the 64 bit version isn't standard and probably won't be i doubt very seriously that will happen any time soon

as far as 64 bit replacing 32 bit as slow as the computer market is for the general public it will probably be 2 to 4 years for the adoption to get full swing if not longer

these are my opinions

microsoft might put out an upgrade but even then it will cost as any microsoft product upgrade at present costs again imho
