Will Michelle make the cut?

Michelle Wie, or as Chris Berman calls her - "Michelle Wie'd do yah," is poised on the brink of making PGA history. Not only might she be the first woman to make the cut at a PGA tournament, she'd be the youngest to do so, man or woman.

It's a phenominal achievement if she does make it. I will be checking it out this afternoon on TV because not only is she a great golfer, she's damn hawt too, so even if you don't like golf it'll still be worth watching. And, yeah, I know she's only 15 but in her case I don't care. She looks 18 to me. 🙂

i predict she won't make it now but in a few years if she sticks with golf and doesn't get injured or lose her mental focus.

Or hit puberty and decide she likes boys more than golf. 😉

Or girls. She IS a woman golfer. 😛

Nice post TLC....I agree with you. This is getting scary.

Oh, I think that she will have a hard time if she struggles early. She is starting on # 10 today and had some problems on the front 9 yesterday.

I don't think it will prove anything if she does make the cut.

She is an extremely talented young lady. In my opinion, she is as talented as Tiger Woods was at that same age. She has absolutely no business playing in USPGA tour events at this stage, but it is inevitable that tournament organisers will invite her if they can't get enough of the big guns to play that week.

I would love to see Michelle kick some butt on the LPGA before attempting to take on the men.

On a related topic, I was disappointed that Annika Sorenstam only played one tournament on the PGA tour. She is an extremely skilled player, and I believe that while she wouldn't be at the top of the mens tour, she could compete. I would've liked to have seen her go through the U.S Q School and earn her way onto the PGA tour. This is what I would like to see Michelle do eventually, if it is her intention to play against the men. She should move her way up through the ranks. That kind of grounding will be invaluable in her career. I wish her luck.

I don't find her attractive...

On the topic if she will make the cut, I don't think she will. I think she CAN if she plays great, but chances are she won't. It's incredible some of the stuff she's accomplishing at such a young age though, I wish her the best and hope she does make the cut.

They invited Annika to play. While she isn't dog ugly, she's not exactly Miss Sweden either 😛

Of course not. Everyone on the PGA circuit is either a current or a former model

:shocked::shocked:

I really like how we are discussing the attractiveness of a 15 year old girl.
They really shouldn't allow women to play in the men's division even if she is hitting from the same tee - I mean can I play in the women's division if I hit off their tee?

You can get hurt playing golf?

Damn, she blew it! I can't believe she blew it again. She was leading at the U.S. Women's Open after three rounds and shot like an 80 the last day. She's a choker so far...but she's young too...

Some of us aren't attracted to little boys.

Neglecting the fact that she's still a child she has a figure that matches her age, and it's rather disgusting to be attracted that.
