Yes, as long as the spec is correct. I've only heard a picky Mac, never heard a picky PC.

Should be a normal sodimm...unless Apple has DRM on those things... (hey, I wouldn't put it past them! ;))

To ensure proper compatibility, you have to wear skinny jeans while using the Windows laptop with Apple memory and be a current iphone user...

i bought it.

it's ddr3 1066mhz.
the 2gig module in my old dual core Pentium u5600 netbook is ddr3 1333.

don't think it's going to matter?

Pretty sure the specs say that both modules will run at the slowest module's speed, so, in this case, both would run at 1066Mhz.

It might. Why didn't you get one with matching specs?

out of stock for ddr 1333mhz :(

I chose walmart because I had a $5off15 code that expires end of this month.
so 21-5 = $16.

cheapest anywhere for a 2gig ddr3 sodimm module

yup.
but I don't think that matters in the u5600 laptop?

The only problem you might legitimately run in to is voltage, but the new chip won't physically fit into the slot (the slots are keyed) if they are different enough to damage one another. Worst case scenario is the computer won't boot.

Odds are pretty damn good it'll just work.
