The Puppy Bowl is where it's at.

I love the puppy bowl! So cute. I love when one tinkles it's a foul and they blow the whistle on him. Or the or the "excessive RUFFness" calls.

I say Madonna mashes all her hits, even the old great ones and the show will be great.

The Black Eyed Peas performance was horrible. It proved how much they rely on studio processing/effects/autotune - like most "artists" today. And Fergie's version of Sweet Child O' Mine with Slash...I had to mute the TV she was so bad.

...and that's not he only reason they're "horrible." The lyrics to their "music" have always been absolutely un-listenable.

Dw I'm not a football fan either, I'm just saying that the majority of people who watch either types of football tend to be drunks.

But unlike football fans, divegrass fans kill other fans in large numbers. See: Egypt, Liverpool.

Madonna isn't who I'd pick to be on stage during the Super Bowl. I don't know if she'll get booed or not though.

The folks who came of age in the 80s are now entering their peak earnings years so we get 80s resurrections for the Superbowl.

during the half time show it is a good time to refill the snack bowls. Go take a dump, refill beer coolers etc.

i suspect the only people who will be watching it will be the women.

i really can't remember the last time i watched a half time show. usually i just tune in for a few minutes here and there and then at the end. if people are talking about a commercial, ill fire up youtube afterwards.

I typically have a superbowl party, we always crank it up and rock out to the half-time shows. I mean it's an over the top show assembled and readied in like 10 minutes, enjoy it.

It doesn't hurt that I love madonna's music from the 80s and 90s. Who the hell doesn't like "Vogue" or "Get into the Groove"

I think I was 13 or 14 when I got the playboy issue with her in it. Hairy underarms and all.

No, she won't be booed. Unlike a few of the acts that have sucked & rely on flash, choreographed dancing, and a hell of a lot of computer help (auto-tune, etc.), she actually has some talent & enough intelligence to know how to give a good performance. Ditto Prince - great performance.

I hope so. I long for some sort of current rock/metal/arena band to go out there and make people deaf.

I think today's crowd may actually prefer all that crap and will boo anyway for daring to compare herself to their precious Lady Gaga.

There was actually an online petition to stop Nickleback from playing at a Thanksgiving game this year. I think it was at Dallas.

When will the NFL get the idea that their major fan-base doesn't want pop music for their half time shows? If they absolutely have to go with mainstream music why not a band like Metallica?
