I was wondering if anyone knows or thinks that Logitech will make a wireless version of the Elite keyboard? I am considering getting it as I need a new keyboard, but would preferably like it wireless. If there will be a wireless version, can anyone tell me how soon it will be before it is released?

Thanks!

They do, it just comes bundled with the somewhat obsolete (now that MX700 is around) optical mouseman. First one was the Cordless Freedom Optical, latest version is the Cordless Elite Duo. I think the Elite Duo has improved RF technology and the mouse's optical engine is improved, but other than that, they look pretty much identical. Same features on all 3 as well. I think the Elite Duo uses fewer batteries. There are some pretty good deals on the Elite Duo AR, ~$60.

I am dense, I should have checked their website as after I posted this I did that and found what you posted. I hope they sell the cordless keyboard stand-alone or bundle it with MX700.

Anyway, thanks for putting up with an idiot.

Buy.com has the Logitech Cordless Elite Duo cordless Keyboard and wireless mouse for a low $54.29 - $20 rebate = $34.29 shipped free (from Techbargains.com).
