will laptop ever have dual core cpu?

When will we actually see dual core Yonahs? I know they are coming out in Q1 06 but is that when we will see them in laptops, I heard from somewhere that it will be a lot later than that (i cant remember where i heard that)

Shouldn't be but maybe a few months after their release that they will begin to enter the market in the higher lappys. Will take a bit to get to the lower boys on the pole.

I heard that Apple was coming up with new powerbooks with yonah if not merom by June 06. I know merom is a stretch but apple is not releasing pentium m before dell is, so Q1 2006 is not a stretch at all.

January - *disclaimer..... THe first dual core capable notebooks will arrive, but that doesn't mean they'll initially be shipping with dual core chips.....

You gotta remember that vendors can introduce single core product in January that takes dual core when it's ready..........In feb....

I'm sure anyone that wants can make them. I would think the power requirements would be pretty hefty though. What's the power bleed like on these things, anyone know?
