I recently changed my vcard order to a Kyro II and maybe I should have asked these questions before I bought the Kyro II but it's too late now, according to Hercules, my Kyro is on the way
The games I play most are Nascar Heat, PGA2000, and High Heat 2002. I don't even think PGA2000 supports 32-bit color so I think the Kyro's ability to run well in 32-bit color mode is a moot point there. I also occasionally play F1 Championship Season 2000, Nascar Racing 4, and Madden 2001.
I could not get a Radeon 32mb DDR to work at with Madden 2001 so I returned it a few months ago. For some reason, the Radeon in 1280x960, which is my preferred playing mode in Madden, could not run this resolution with a decent picture. It looked worse than 640x480, just really big and grainy pixels.
I presently have a Leadtek Geforce1 DDR card and as long as the Kyro II is as good as or better than the GF1, then I will be satisfied. I know the Kyro II has problems with certain types of filtering but I'm not sure if any of the games I play will be affected, I hope not.
