Will K7S5A Pro accept a Voodoo5 AGP card?

I'm going to put together a "Glide" box with some left over stuff and wondered if this mb will work. I know rev.1 did but don't know about the Pro.
TIA :)

Yes it will. You need a somewhat outdated chipset to get the 3.3V signalling on the AGP port - 'cause let's remember, Voodoo is actually PCI chips on AGP cards, these need the 3.3V signalling as used on the original AGP slot 1x/2x modes as well as in PCI mode - neither of which are offered by 4x/8x capable chipsets anymore. So yes, K7S5Apro with the older, 1x/2x/4x capable SiS 735 chipset gives you a good chance.

Make sure the MB supports the proper agp voltage for the voodoo5 card.

That's what I've been looking for but I can't find it in the manual or on ECS's website. I can't even find a "Pro" review anywhere :(

be sure with your glide rig to use a 9x based os, SLI never worked correctly on NT. I ran my voodoo5 in win2K for a long time, but i was missing out on some performance. btw, i have been meaning to build myself a glide rig but the pc was well, stripped and then turned into a SETI box. its now running a matrox millinium2 instead of a voodoo5

I told you already, K7S5A pro can run the AGP card with 3.3V signalling. As also demonstrated by the "universal" AGP slot mechanical shape (no key tabs in slot).
