I can tell you in short that yes those chips should run on a socket 7 board that supports a 100 mhz bus speed but in his articke he refrences older socket 7 boards that support lower fsb setting an he mention that the chips will run at other speeds and will run at or near the spec'ed speeds at 75 and 83 mhz fsb's
