I'm getting G.skill Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz Desktop Memory (F3-12800CL10Q-32GBXL). Will it work with an X79 motherboard?
 
32GB will fit an X79 motherboard. As for RAM type/manufacturer, check the motherboard manufacturer's RAM compatibility list. If they're not listed, chances are they would work just fine.
