JUST SO SOMEONE WILL DRILL IT INTO MY HEAD, so I will save myself a few hours of pain: Please Answer this Question:

I will not have a RAID setup. I have NO SATA drives. I have the IC7, NON-g version. Are the Intel Application Accelerator drivers ONLY for SATA-Raid setups? Is there any performance benefit to installing it if I don't have this type of setup? Or will it slow things down?

I will be installing WinXP Pro and a P4c 2.4 CPU. I will probably add a SATA drive in maybe a year or so, but not now.

Thanks
