will Intels 2018 10nm chip family finally support LPDDR4? It would be pretty bad if brand new chips in 2018 were still stuck with LPDDR3...
 
Cannonlake does. Coffee Lake does not. Icelake supports LPDDR4X.
That is a bummer then unless Cannonlake comes early to mid 2018?

Supposedly Coffe lake will bring 6 cores laptops in the 35-45w range and I was banking on apple adding that with 32gb of ram options in the next update of their 15” macbook pros.
