will Intel H110 install windows 7

Hey All, I I understand that some chip sets don't like windows 7 with the skylake cpu. I was wondering will the H110 chip set accept it with no issue?

Thanks Brad

The problem is the USB driver. If you use a DVD drive and a ps/2 keyboard and mouse there is no problem. Your Windows media can be patched with the driver (this should be available from the motherdoard's manufacturer's site.) My H170 board has an option to emulate USB as ps/2 so I could still use my keyboard and mouse but not a thumb drive. I still had to connect a DVD-ROM.

Check the BIOS also, some allow disabling of the USB 3.0 controller altogether. In which case, you shouldn't have any problem as long as you're using the ports designated USB 2.0. Then after W7 is completely installed and have the chipset INF software installed, restart then enable the USB 3.0 controllers and install the drivers from Windows. Also be sure to use W7 install media patched to SP1.
