Will Intel ever release a desktop version of the Pentium M?

The pentium m is such an awsome proccessor, will intel ever release a desktop version? AMD would be in trouble I think.
 
They will modify it for desktop use after they give up on netburst... hopefully sooner rather than later.

Hopefully it will put up more of a fight than current P4s. 🙂
 
You might want to read previous threads a bit before posting. This issue has been hashed and rehashed several times. In short, yes. Intel is bringing "M" to the desktop in a dual-core package, supposedly Q1 '06. Although I suspect we'll see it sooner than that.
