just read the post of HD3870 vs. 9600GT

I guess 9600GT is a better choice. it is cheaper and slightly fast under AA enable.

I am wondering if i will get any graphical difference under different brands of 9600GT?

i am planning to get monster cable DVI along with the 9600GT and my current Viewsonic 20" LCD 2035MW

Video card resellers rarely change anything besides the color of the paint and their choice in fan & heatsink. The chips doing the work are all manufactured by the same plant, and are identical.

At most, they may adjust the speed slightly; nothing you can't do on your own at home with freeware tools.

No, you will not see a significant difference. Also, WTH are you getting a monster cable? Almost any digital cable is just as good.

Most brands are quite close, some really stand out but they demand a price premium that makes them hard to reccomend(Pallit as an example).
