Hey I have a Athlon 2400xp on an Asus A7V8X (KT400) mobo ... I wish to upgrade the CPU to the boards max.
What should I get? I have looked over the Asus website and found nothing on what the max CPU is ... I can't find my manual atm 😛
If anyone knows the max CPU for that board and what that would be in a Barton Core I would greatly appreciate it.

IMO you really wouldn't notice any type of difference if you stuck with that board. Now, going Opteron, that's a dif story.
