Well I went ahead and bought a Santa Cruz to replace my cheap $12 4.1 C-media card. Was curious will I see any difference in loudness and quality by going with a Santa Cruz. I can't get the 4.1 to fully work on the C-media so I am left with M3D to get the rear speakers working and I don't like that because it seems to echo behind me with it on. Figured since I have a set of fairly high-end speakers maybe I should invest in a better sound card.

 
Anyway is that the only difference in features? Is it worth $45 is my main question or should I go with retail?

IMO it would be worth the $63.00 shipped that Newegg charges rather than buy a used card for $45.00.
 
This one dude has one retail with box and everything for $50 shipped but he can't ship till Wensday. I guess maybe I should wait the extra few days for it and get the real deal then to have a OEM one which who knows what dell really does to them if anything shipped on Monday.

BTW Tech no CC so I have no choice but to buy used or new off the forums.
