The 650 Ti is about 10-15% slower than a desktop HD 5850, and the 765M is probably about another 10-15% slower based on its much slower VRAM clock.
The CPU in your new laptop is the equivalent of your overclocked i7 860.
So overall, you'll see lower performance, but it will be somewhat comparable - all games playable on your current system will still be playable at slightly lower settings.
It's going to depend on the game. The 5850 will be better in some games because of memory bandwidth and higher raw power, while the 765M will be better in others because of its more efficient architecture. The 650 Ti even beat the 5870 in Metro: Last Light. But the general idea is you're not going to see an overall change for better or worse between the 5850 and the 765M; it's going to be more of a sidegrade than an upgrade or downgrade.
