Will I see a difference?

I was going to upgrade my P4 2.26b to a 2.8b cpu. Do you think I'll see a big difference in OS load times and Games (RTCW, RTCW ET, BATTLEFIELD, ETC.)?

What about putting a 800fsb cpu in a 533fsb mb. Is this possible and whats the effect, better or worse?

Things that are important to BF1942 = LOSTA RAM AND A FAST VIDEO CARD. I would recommend atleast 1gb and a Radeon 9500 with a 2ghz cpu to fully enjoy BF1942/Desert combat.
