Will I notice a HUGE difference upgrading to audigy 2?

If I upgrade my onboard sound from my MSI 648 Max mobo, will I hear a huge difference with an Audigy 2? I have z-640's connected via MSI's S-bracket.

you probably WILL notice a differenc but it won't be anything major unless you're using some wierd speaker setup.
personally, i think it would be worth it to upgrade from onboard to either an audigy or Turtle Beach Santa Cruz.....but not to an Audigy2.

upgrading from onboard sound to an audigy 2 should make a difference, less overhead, probably better sound.

hey an OEM one may be a good deal.... or if you could find some rebate deal like the one newegg had a little while ago, that would definitely be worth it.

The "S" Bracket is just part of the MSI onboard sound setup. It takes up a PSI slot. They also have a "D" bracket for USB ports.

Sound card and speakers go hand-in-hand. Audigy 2 is pointless with insufficient speakers.
