Will I need to buy new heatsink for socket1366/1156

I've seen some ealier X58 boards supporting older heatsinks. But i'm assuming this won't be done anymore for any upcoming boards or P55. Are there any adapters you can get to make older heatsinks work? I'd hate to have to get rid of my trusty Ninja (and heatsinks are expensive!)
