+3.3v 25a +5v 30a +12v 18a +12v2 18a -5v 0.8a -12v0.8a +5fsb 2.00a
Thinking of upgrading 3850,s when 4000 series come out. Current cards 96tpd and new one looking at rumoured to be 120tpd . 18 x 12v =216 . What power supply would you recommend if this one wont handle graphics upgrade.

Well there are so many choices out there that it can get confusing. I see that you've already been using a coolermaster so have you considered one of their realpower units like the 700 or 750w? I recently swapped out two ps's after I had an enermax liberty 620 let go which took out several components. I used an ocz 700w gamexstream in that machine however I had another machine using a second liberty 620 and in that one we used a coolermaster realpower 750w ps.

I'm sure that others will chime in but you've got a tremendous selection to choose from right now. Just make sure that it's a quality unit with plenty of amps especially on the 12v rail(s) and you should be fine.

I used to hawk enermax, fanboyish, however after what happened I can't recommend anything they make except for the galaxy line but that is mucho expensive.

What other items will be in the system? Are you sure you even need a new ps? I run 2 dvdrw's, 5 hdd's, 2 hd3870's overclocked, a 900mhz oc on my 8400, 6-7 fans and more with a 600w with similar specs no problem

Run one hard drive 4x 120mm fans one 90mm fan two 3850 graphics card one dvd drive. Mainly wondering if new 4000 series radeon was tpd 120w would my power supply be able to feed them since 12v2 is 216 watts , or do they get some of their power from motherboard.

Would it handle two cards with 120 watt tpd each.I know it would handle 2 cards at 105watts tpd but not sure of any higher than that.
