Will I lose any Logitech G9 settings if I uninstall Setpoint 5.20?

If I completely uninstall Setpoint 5.20 after configuring the mouse, will my Logitech G9 store ALL of the settings in its built-in memory? More specifically, I am wondering whether the 1000 report/sec setting will still be stored in the mouse memory after I uninstall Setpoint or plug the G9 into a new machine.

I find that I have no need for setpoint after I setup all the options.

Thanks 0roo0roo. My settings are currently saved to General profile, but how does the mouse know which profile to choose when i plug it into a new computer? I pressed the profile key on the buttom of the G9 but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Do you know any good mouse report rate utility off the top of your head? Any input is appreciated.

you have to set it to manual profile switcing instead of application based, its in the driver settings. but my guess is the mouse defaults to manual if plugged into a computer without driver.
i just don't see how rate wouldn't be part of profile since it is part of the profile page where all the sensitivity settings are set.
you manually switch profiles with the button under the mouse if not using driver or in manual mode.
is it that much trouble ot leave the driver installed?
i prefer automatic profile switching:p

I actually speculated the same thing about the report rate being part of the profile just like rest of the settings. This issue came to mind due to a recent re-installation of Windows 7. I had to let the driver wipe the internal settings because it was associated with a different account. Another thing is SetPoint used to be quite buggy, but it seems to be much better these days. Thanks for your input man, at least I got the chance to cure some curiosity :D

yea there are a ton of settings, and colors and all that, macros etc. best to install the driver, its got way more features than the average logitech mouse.
