Since the base of the heatsink is smaller, ThermalRight provides the cushioned 'feet' since it can't use the ones that are are on the processor. Will the placement of the 'new feet' cause any problems with the transistors (or whatever) that were moved to the top of the thoroughbred?

According to the review (link in GH) its not a problem, but it performs better on palamino core.
